The Oculus software reported 2.9 Gbps bandwidth with this cable at 10ft. I have a Asus Tuf b550 motherboard with 5600x CPU. A little stiff for VR experiences but after breaking the cable in for a while it works fine.

That isn't a bad thing because 10Gbps is theoretically, or under the perfect conditions you can push up to 10Gbps. Trust me when I say with so much different hardware you can't expect the max. That said I have a USB 3.1 GEN 1 port on my gaming laptop. 3.1 Gen 1 is rated at 5Gbps, it can go no faster, though it probably won't go that fast anyway. Testing with the Occulus software I get 2.2 Gbps data throughput, which is about half of 5Gbps. Testing occulus link, using steam VR, and playing Half-Life Alex at Max Visual settings, I was having no fidelity issues.The cable itself is great for standing VR unless you wanna play in a very large area, and if you wanna do that, you shouldn't be using a cable anyway. It's important to be as close to the port as possible to give yourself as much length as you can, the cable should be plugging in just past your play area i'd say 6 inches, i'm about 1ft which is fine since my play area is pretty small. I weave my cable through the back of the headband and this keeps the cable down my back. Also don't face the computer when you play or you will loose length if you weave it to the back.It seems like the cable will be durable due to the thick braid protecting it, but it's always important to be gentle with cables, if your yanking, balling up, stepping on these things all the time, well yeah, it's not gonna last. Granted some cables can take more of a beating, but I always try to be gentle with my cables.For the price I'm happy with this cable, if it doesn't hold up, I'll update this review.If you want as much speed as your USB port can push, which will vary computer to computer, buy a fiber usb c cable, which is what occulus sales and why it's a pricey cable.

Questo cavo lo ho preso al posto di quello dell'Oculus Quest rotto, va benissimo anche per la ricarica super veloce ad esempio del One Plus. Tolgo però una stellina dal voto, perché è davvero troppo rigido, quindi scomodo se ti devi spostare con lui (ad esempio se giochi inn ricarica al Quest).

As advertised, used this to link up my oculus quest via USB-C. It works, and detects it as USB3.Other cables I have purchased have claimed to be USB3.1 Gen2, but have not worked with Oculus link, so I'm delighted that this one did.

I was really impressed and surprised by how thick this cable was. Has a nice rigid flexibility to it. It's perfect length to connect my phone in my car. I use this to rapidly charge my Oneplus 8. I used to use the oneplus dash charging cable exclusively, until I needed to fast charge another device simultaneously. This cable allows me to plug into PD and get full 15w of power, which is fast enough for my Waze and Spotify use in the car. Nice quality cable with a attractive nylon cover. Blends perfectly with my interior and long enough for my usage.

I have a portable monitor which requires a USB 3.1 connection to operate other wise the signal would not be able to be transport video at same time as transferring power.one side is L shape and one side is straight, which makes the cable management better than two straight string.

Using this cable for night time charging, but it can be used for anytime.I got it because of the length and the 90 degree end. this is my third cable because we keep bending one of the ends as it is close to the night stand that keep pushing up against the cable.well now it just rest on the 90 degree end instead of bending the straight line into 90 degrees. ;-)the bonus is that it supports fast charging. so if I forget to plug it in over night. I can put it in the charger and it will charge almost 40% by the time I get out of the shower. it can charge my phone from 10 to 100% in about an hour.I would definitely recommend this cable for charging. specially fast charging.

Bought 3m length to connect my Quest 2 to PC via Oculus Link. Works perfectly with the couple of Steam VR games I played. Cable is a bit stiff and you'll want a zip tie or something to attach the tail to your headset/strap, but performs as expected.

Passes through all the power from my dock, as well as the Video signal and USB for peripherals! I'd tried several different cables before this, I really wish it was clearer what different cables supported, but this one does it all!

Worked great for oculus link (quest 2). Make sure your motherboard is vr capable with the correct usb c connection (mine is type 3.1) and you're set to go! No issues with compatibility or fit, clicked perfectly into the oculus quest 2 and was ready to play with steam vr in minutes!Very happy with my purchase.

I use this cable to connect a UHD monitor to either a MacBook Pro or a Lenovo Thinkpad, while using the laptop as a second display. The monitor, in turn, connects to Ethernet and to a USB-A wireless mouse receiver. The USB-C cable that came with the monitor gave me a single-cable connection to my monitor, network and peripherals, but I could see strain where the cable connected to its port on the side of the laptop and I worried that cable wouldn't last long. This cable works at least as well as the one that came with the monitor, seems more durable, and its 90-degree turn lets me keep the laptop right next to the external monitor with no strain on the cable--and less strain on my neck, because the two displays are now side-by-side.Note that with the MacBook Pro, I have to choose my monitor settings to give me either: UHD resolution with a 60 MHz refresh rate; OR a lower resolution with a 60 MHz refresh rate; OR UHD resolution with a 30 MHz refresh rate and full USB-C speeds on peripherals attached to the monitor's ports. I chose to lower my USB speed to USB-2 and use my monitor's highest available resolution and refresh rate. This is a limitation of my MacBook Pro, that I don't have with the ThinkPad, and the cable is not a factor (as other reviewers have speculated).

bought it because of having issues with Oculus Quest and different cable. The previous cable did not pass the throughput test - this one did. I have encountered no more cable related problems with the Quest while using this cable.
