I owned this cable a little bit over a month. This USB-C cable is built well. It’s a cable so it doesn’t have moving parts, but the common weak points in cables (symmetrical connector and neck) is addressed by a flexible sturdy rubber/plastic surround. The wire is nylon braided and feels solid.I have had this cable connected between my EGPU and MacBook Pro. It charges my laptop and transfers the videos signal with no issues

I have two of these 10' Fasgear USB C to USB C Cable connecting each of my 27 Dell UltraShard computer monitors to my Mac Mini. Work perfect. Nice to know they are USB 3.1 and capable of 4K @ 60HZ. They are well made. Just wish these cable manufacturers would stop with the rigid plastic bag packaging, plastics are destroying our environment and ocean habitats.

I don't have the stuff to fully test the cable, however, it does what I primarily purchased it for, which was to act as both a video signal cable (passes display port 3840x2160@60Hz) and USB 2.0. Unfortunately, that's all my monitor is capable of, so that's the best I can do. I don't have a device that can do 20v@5A charging, so I can't test that. I also don't have a USB 10Gbps device so I can't test that either.

A good all round cable, it will charge an Samsung S20 Ultra at 45w using the correct wall charger, seems well built and looks like it will last a while, it is possible to create semi permanent bends in the cable, this could mean one of 2 things, the cable contains alot of metal, or 2 the sheathing isnt the best, i cannot yet say, but don't be put off buying this cable it id definitely a good cable.

I love the length of this cable. Makes it so l can have it connected to my pc and have my phone near me in my living room.The cable at the moment is super stiff.Not sure if it will loosen up after time.I read the cable is directional to work.I haven't had that issue.It works no matter what way I'm using it.

Received a Lenovo X390 laptop with USB-C dock but the USB-C cable between the dock and the laptop was a bit short for my needs; you can't replace this cable with any old USB-C cable, it has to be one that will handle video/data as well as charging, standard USB-C cable will only charge as I found out. A Lenovo branded cable is upwards of £35, enough said. This cable from Fasgear does the job perfectly.Pros.Extremely well made, braided cable.Very good price for a 10 foot cable.Carries the audio and video signal from laptop to external monitor [via dock] without issue, as well as charging the laptop.Fasgear customer service was fantastic! Contacted them in advance to make sure this cable would do what I wanted it to; they helped all the way.Cons.None.If you need a USB-C cable to go between your laptop and screen or laptop and dock/screen then get one of these. Worth every penny.Fasgear, if you are reading...please make one with a right-angled plug at one end; I would buy that too.

Somehow I only had USB 2.0 compliant type C cables. I threw this on on and amazing my external drives weren't messed up! The cable is really tough. Almost 2X thicker than most of my USB cables It is a little stiff I'll update if the cable relaxes over time. Really nice build quality and a solid connection.

Toen ik de kabel gebruikte om m'n iPad op te laden liet ik deze per ongeluk vallen, precies op de stekker. I've just received this cable and post this review as an initial impression, not one based upon a period of use, so keep that in mind. Overall, the construction quality appears excellent....thick yet with sufficient flexbility to pose no concerns about using it in the manner that I bought it for...as a longer USB C to USB C cable for a DJI Mavic Air 2 controller, in the event I decide to use it with a tablet having a USB C port. As a fitment check, it works and I get a good signal so that the controller is properly detected, but that's using my Samsung Galaxy S8+, as my current tablet is still Micro USB. The cable is just thin enough to fit into the controller port and it still allows the antenna/phone bracket to be closed down if one chooses to leave the cable attached for any reason. Snug fit into both controller and phone ports seems good. I'm happy with my purchase.

I have a monitor that offers a one cable USB-C solution (34 LG ultrawide ) - meaning you can charge your computer (Macbook Pro for me) and also have it transmit video in the same cable. I tried a lot of USB-C cables I already had - but apparently they are not all the same. This one transmits video AND charges the MBP with only one cable from the monitor - it is sweet. As for the cable itself...it's a braided cable - nice quality - you get what you pay for.One cable to rule them all.
