This cable actually works for my monitor. A lot of cables are only for charging (apple cables) but this one charges as well as transfers data. A great versatile cable for a fraction of the cost of charge only cables.

I can confirm that when connected the Oculus desktop app reports 2.3gbps transfer rate - more than enough for playing VR games, remote desktop or streaming hi-res video.The cable itself is sturdy and hopefully will prove durable. Only negative is it is not quite long as I had hoped, I guess I needed more than 10ft, I can see why the offical link cable is 16ft now. A good option for Oculus Link if your wifi isn't up to using the Virtual Desktop app plus the sidequest add on to do the same job wirelessly.It also does the basics like charging my phone and other devices.

I'm very happy with this cable which allow to store my X8 SSD on top of my desktop.This cable has the same transfer rate than the original Crucial one.It's too soon to speak about durability, but it seems well manufactured.

Using with MacBook Pro Thunderbolt 3 model and usb c UltraWide monitor.Having just two cables including power cable to monitor, makes a huge difference to cable management.The monitor can pass power to the laptop up to 90w and the laptop can pass video and sound to the monitor and it's built in speakers, all thru the one cable.This corded cable feels sturdy and I am pleased with its performance over these few days that I have been using it for.Having a good quality cable that can pass both power and data is important, so if you need that, I can say this cable is an option.Be careful though as some devices may need Thunderbolt 3 cables and some cables only pass a charge and no data.Confusing, so take your time choosing the performance you need, but I will in future only get power/data cables or T3 cables as these meet my needs.If your data needs are 10Gbs and you need power, then this meets those needs.
