Like many others I was looking for a different option that the official cable . I can confirm this cable does work for USB 3 charging and syncing for Oculus link Beta.That being said, the cable has to go ONE SPECIFIC WAY. Try turning the cable one end at a time, then try flipping the end in the oculus headset itself until you get it to USB 3. Even though it will plug in all ways, there is only ONE way that will have the USB 3 you are looking for. Also make sure your computer has a USB 3 C slot and that USB 3 is working properly in device manager.Lots of user error in the comments on this, but make sure you try what I have said about flipping cables and USB 3 drivers. This cable is heavy, thick and DOES WORK for USB 3.

I bought this for the Oculus Quest 2 as the official cable was just too expensive. I've been using this cable a little while now and can confirm it works at 2.9Gbps over a USB 3 connection. The braided cable with L-Shaped connector makes it incredibly easy to route around the headset with the included Velcro tidy as the headset strap is fabric, This in turn prevents any strain on the USB-C connector on the Oculus Quest 2. Games & 360 Videos work fast and look good. Using this on my desktop PC the device charges whilst in use but with my laptop it slowly loses charge, However it has never turned off during play so I cannot complain. Great Cable & Smart Purchase.

This cable has worked very well with Quest and now Quest 2. It is a little on the stiff side, but not too bad. I have it plugged into my graphics card at the back of the PC tower (an RTX2080ti) and it worked from the start with zero problems.The two issues that may bother some are firstly, the plug is not ideal. It's a horizontal right-angle, as seen in the description images and while this would be ideal for using when seated and close to the source, as it can go round the back of the headset strap and be kept well out of the way, this does mean there is less spare length to play with - and this is the second issue.It is not ideal for standing in VR, because it has to hang free to the front to be long enough to not hinder arm movement too much. You have to think about it when using VR in this way, so as to avoid catching the lead. However, it can be done. Roomscale VR is not an option for obvious reasons.To sum up, I would definitely recommend it for seated VR, where you are close to the output. I sit at a large PC desk, where the output from the graphics card is about 1m away to the side. I would advise caution if it is required for standing VR, but it does do the job, and to look elsewhere (i.e. wireless with Virtual Desktop) for roomscale.

I paired this with a 16ft active USB extension and I was blown away that not only does it keep my device charged (for seriously long gaming sessions) but I saw no performance drop between a total of 26ft or 10ft. QUEST 2 USERSThis cable is perfect for Rift Link. I get 2.81GBs during the test phase. Although it's only 72hz during play it's still solid. The cable is proper robust and feels like armoured core cable.

Works well as a Link cable. Been using for a few weeks, will update review if anything goes wrong.Purchased the 3m cable, as I wasn't sure if 5m exceeds USB limitations. Connection test shows 2.5Gbps, connected via Gen1 USB-C port.Battery drains faster than it charges, but this may be different if you connect via Gen2 port. Headset easily lasts during long play sessions, with plenty of battery to spare. Don't stress too much if you only have a Gen1 port on your PC.

I have a Viewsonic touchscreen USB-C monitor that is normally mounted in a adjustable tablet arm. Since its on an arm, my goal was to minimize the number of cables going to the monitor, be long enough to accommodate the arm (4 feet) with enough cable left over to get to the PC (another 4 feet) and the and have the cable plug not stick out 2 from the device (which is why my requirement was a 90 degree plug on one end).This fit the bill perfectly! Thanks to the 10 foot length and the 90 degree angled plug, I have the monitor connected in a very unobtrusive way with the cable perfectly hidden and tucked away along the arm with plenty of length to spare.The video signal works perfectly, touch screen response is fine, and the audio works. No surprises...

Bought this for the oculus quest 2 link, instead of paying £70 bought this. Get 2.8mb/sec transfer which is equal to the official cable.Ignore the reviews that say it's not usb 3, they obviously have inferior usb ports on their computers and don't know what they're talking about. If you have genuine usb 3 gen 2 ports on your PC this is great.Feels well made aswell. recommended.

Seems like a well made cable. Quite thick and difficult to bend and can hold its shape a bit. Seems very durable along the cable itself and at the connectors.Works very well with Oculus link and I've been using it for seated experiences with the Oculus Quest 2. I would say it's not really long enough for anything near room scale VR. The cable is advertised as 10Gbps although when I test it with the Oculus software the result is 2.9Gbps. I'm not sure whether this is the maximum bandwidth required for Quest 2 or whether it is false advertising for the cable itself.Running the debug tool and increasing the bandwidth to the Quest results in very smooth looking games with no complaints. Oculus have not switched on 90fps for Quest 2 as yet, but when they do, I'm sure 2.9Gbps will be more than adequate to deal with it as I also have used Virtual Desktop at only 866Mbps to run games at 90fps. I would say the gaming experience with a cable link gives a smoother and more reliable experience than virtual desktop which can stutter a bit depending on your wifi network strength/speed.At the £16.99 I paid, i think this is unbeatable in terms of quality for a 3m link cable. Recommended.
