This cable might be okay, but USB 3.1 x2 file transfers using it would hang after 5 minutes of heavy file moving between a Windows PC and a Pixel phone. I would need to disconnect and reconnect to get the files transfers to work again. One time Windows black-screened and I needed to reboot the computer.With that being said, the problem could have been the PC hardware, Windows 10, the Pixel phone, or the Android system. Or... a combination of the above and or with the cable.The only way for me to be sure that the cable is the problem would be to purchase a cable from another manufacturer. I'll think about that.

I bought this cable to use with my new external 1TB SSD. The cable actuallyimproved the spped of the original cable that came with the SSD. I use this for my Blackmagic Pocket 6k rig to connect the camera to my Samsung T7 SSD drive. So far, it has worked great. No dropped frames or disconnecting. One downside is that the cable is too long, and because of that, I have yanked the cable a few times.

The male end won't penetrate completely into the all the female Type-C sockets I tried which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just makes me wonder if having a tighter fit up against the faces of the socket and plug would be more secure and resistant to snapping off or flexing. Other than that the connector ends feel sturdy and durable. Handling this cable gives the impression it was made to be better than expected, perform better than expected and last longer than expected. I have two monitors. This sends video to my Dell UltraSharp 34 U3419W. But it does not send video to my Philips 346B1C, which is disappointing.

I was shocked with how stiff this cable is. It is actually difficult to coil. It seems to be well constructed, and the color (red) is not over done. However I plan to this cable as a Tavel cable, and I fear it much too stiff to be able to able to pack and unpack.

This works as a Link cable. I just wish they made these at like 16-20ft.

I can't see this this cable breaking, especially where the cable goes in to the connectors on the ends, which is a typically weak point. The rubber holds it in well but it's still flexible. It also seems to be full 10gbps speed.My only issue is that the connectors are short and compact in the images shown on here, but that's not what you get. If you look at my photo you can see the connectors are longer than shown in the product images. It's minor, but one of the reasons i got this cable was for the compact looking connectors. So that's misleading and it gets 4 stars for that. But apart from that it's a good cable.
